Medical Education – CME

SCIARC has extensive experience in the preparation, organisation and implementation of “Continuing Medical Education” (CME) events. Our range of services includes all categories specified by the German Medical Association in its “Continuing Education Regulations”, from on-site lectures to training contributions in print and online media to congresses in Germany and abroad. It can be divided into four core areas:

1. Webcasts

Our focus in the field of Medical Education – CME is the competent transfer of knowledge in picture and sound. SCIARC is one of Europe’s leading providers of medical webcasts. The multimedia training courses are available on various German and English platforms, independent of location and time. SCIARC records lectures and presentations of renowned experts during medical congresses or in studios and provides them for physicians, pharmacists and healthcare professionals online. The associated national and / or international evaluation is created by SCIARC. The education courses are certified and acquired training points are transmitted to the participants electronically.

A special training format is provided by the compact reporting on the central topics of national and international conferences. The “congress highlights” are summarised in front of the camera by renowned conference participants and published on the SCIARC training portals in real time.

2. Live Streaming

Another innovative format of medical knowledge transfer is the live transmission of lectures from congresses or studios. A major advantage of this high-reach online communication form lies in the possibility of rapid dissemination. The live streaming produced by SCIARC will be made available for further education programs as a webcast after the event. The associated multiple-choice test enables the acquisition of CME credits.

3. Interactive Education Programs

Physicians can also acquire CME credits through the study of continuing education contributions in print or online media if they successfully pass the associated evaluation. For this form of interactive CME (category D of the continuing education regulations of the German Medical Association), SCIARC undertakes the complete implementation from the editorial establishment of the training units and multiple-choice tests to their distribution, for example as supplements in specialised media and / or as PDF versions on corporate websites.

4. Certified Face-to-Face Education Programs

As an independent organiser of multi-day congresses in Germany and abroad, SCIARC can also draw on extensive experience in the field of certified medical attendance events. Whether workshops or working groups, quality circles or peer reviews – we are at our customers’ disposal for all stages of implementation. The recording and broadcasting of on-site events in the form of medical webcasts is also ideally suited to reaching further training participants – SCIARC spans the spectrum from on-site events to location-independent online training.
